Ahmedabad, March 9 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said that women's blessings were his greatest strength, capital, and protective shield as he underlined his government's efforts towards women's safety, including adding a provision for capital punishment for heinous crimes like rape. Addressing a gathering in Navsari, Gujarat, on International Women's Day, the PM said respecting women is the first step towards development.
