India, July 5 -- After a four-and-a-half-year tenure in Chandigarh as the British deputy high commissioner, Caroline Rowett heads to the foreign office in London. A career diplomat with over 30 years' experience, she has represented the UK in Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Chandigarh since February 2021.
