Mumbai, Nov. 26 -- India have been placed in a relatively light Group A for the 2026 men's T20 World Cup with USA, Netherlands and Namibia and arch-rivals Pakistan.
India will open their campaign on February 7 in Mumbai against USA, making it the first prime time match of the month-long event. Their much awaited contest against Pakistan will be a week later on February 15 in Colombo.
The Indian government has barred all bilateral sporting engagements with Pakistan following the Pahalgam terror attack in April this year, but has permitted contests between the two nations in multinational events.
Eight venues - five in India and three in Sri Lanka - will host the 55 matches. P18
