Washington, April 26 -- India and Pakistan will figure out relations between themselves, US President Donald Trump said on Friday, days after terrorists killed 26 people in Kashmir's Pahalgam, escalating tensions between the two countries.
Trump said "India and Pakistan have fought over Kashmir for a thousand years, probably longer", referring to historical conflicts.
He said he knew both countries' leaders, but did not answer when asked whether he would contact them.
"They'll get it figured out one way or the other," he said.
