New Delhi, Feb. 17 -- The heads of the border guard forces of India and Bangladesh are scheduled to meet in Delhi on Monday for the first time since the fall of the Sheikh Hasina government to discuss key issues, ranging from fencing at the border to attacks on Indian personnel, officials aware of the matter said on Sunday.
The Indian side will be led by Border Security Force (BSF) director general (DG) Daljit Singh Chawdhary and the 10-member Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) delegation will be headed by major general Mohammad Ashrafuzzaman Siddiqui at the 55th Director General-Level Border Coordination Conference, scheduled from February 17-20.
