New Delhi, April 1 -- Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi has urged the Centre to increase the honorarium for anganwadi workers, further calling for improvements in their working conditions and social security.
In a letter to Union minister for women and child development (WCD) Annpurna Devi, Gandhi said that despite their hard work to develop the nation, anganwadi workers struggle with inadequate pay, poor working conditions, and a lack of social security.
