Patna, Aug. 16 -- With an eye on the assembly elections scheduled to be held later this year, Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar on Friday announced a fee relief for students appearing for competitive examinations in the state. Kumar announced that the fee for the preliminary (PT) examination will be only Rs.100, while no fee will be charged from the candidates appearing in the mains. "Our government has taken several concrete steps to provide more opportunities for government jobs and employment to the youth of the state and to secure their future.
