India, May 5 -- An engineering student of Indian Institute of Information Technology and Design Manufacturing's (IIITDM) Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh was reportedly detained by police on Monday on allegations of filming her senior roommate in the bathroom of the institute's hostel.

The accused student, pursuing BTech, was detained after a fourth year student of the same course complained to the institute about the suspected involvement of the junior on Sunday night, PTI news agency quoted police as saying.
