India, April 3 -- Pakistan's woes in ODI cricket continued on Thursday. A month after incurring an embarrassing exit in the group stage of the Champions Trophy held at home, Pakistan lost the ODI series against New Zealand on Wednesday after finding themselves 0-2 down in the three-match contest. A day after the defeat in Hamilton in the second game, Pakistan were punished by the ICC.
The Mohammad Rizwan-led side was penalised for maintaining a slow over-rate against New Zealand in the second ODI in Hamilton and, hence, was fined five per cent of their match fee.
