Rohtak, March 3 -- Police formed a special investigation team (SIT) on Sunday, a day after the body of a 22-year-old Congress worker was found stuffed inside a suitcase near the Sampla bus stand on the Rohtak-Delhi highway, Rohtak superintendent of police (SP) Narendra Bijarniya said.

Speaking to the media, Rohtak deputy superintendent of police Rajneesh Kumar said a three-member SIT, under his supervision, has been formed to probe the death of Himani Narwal.

"Her mobile phone has been recovered. We are taking help from a cyber security team and forensic experts. She had last spoken to her family in the morning of March 1 and her body was found near the Sampla bus stand around 11am. We suspect that she was strangled before being stuffed i...
