India, Jan. 9 -- With the Republic Day just days away, the Ministry of Defence has announced the release of ticket sales for the parade this year. The tickets will be available for sale from January 5 to January 14 for three events, including the Republic Day parade, the full dress rehearsal of the beating retreat and the beating retreat.

The tickets can be purchased online from the Aamantran website, or physically from counters set up at six locations, a PIB release said on Friday.

The tickets can only be purchased after uploading a valid photo ID card like Aadhar Card, Voter ID, Driving License, PAN Card, Passport, and ID Card issued by the Central/State Government.
