India, Feb. 3 -- Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India began 2026 on a positive note, posting overall sales of 5,74,411 units in January. The bulk of this volume came from the domestic market with 5,19,579 units sold, while overseas shipments contributed 54,832 units during the month.

The company posted a year-on-year growth of 29 per cent compared to January 2025, indicating steady demand across both the Indian market and key export regions. The performance reflects continued traction for HMSI's two-wheeler portfolio amid improving retail momentum.
