India, Dec. 8 -- The Honda Civic Type-R, a revered sports sedan amongst the car enthusiast community, has been spotted on Indian roads without camouflage. Spotted by a social media user, the car is seen exiting an Indian Oil petrol pump in an undisguised white shade. The video shows the high-performance sedan in what appears to be a full international specification.

The timing has added fuel to speculation as Honda Cars India recently confirmed it will begin introducing select CBU models next year, prompting many to wonder if the Civic Type R could be part of the lineup. A similar situation was observed recently when the WR-V RS was spotted on Indian roads earlier, again without confirmation of an official launch.
