BENGALURU, Jan. 7 -- Karnataka home minister G Parameshwara on Tuesday dismissed allegations that a second autopsy was conducted on a Congress worker killed during the Ballari firing incident, rejecting claims made by Union minister HD Kumaraswamy.
Speaking to reporters in Bengaluru, Parameshwara said doctors who carried out the post mortem examination had categorically stated that the procedure was conducted only once. He said unverified allegations could inflame public sentiment and lead to social consequences. "The doctors who conducted the post mortem have clearly stated that it was not done twice.
