new delhi, Oct. 22 -- A 17-year-old girl was injured in south Delhi's Lado Sarai on Diwali night after a group of boys allegedly hurled a lit firecracker at her, police said on Tuesday. The blast severely damaged one of her eyes. She was taken to the AIIMS Trauma Centre, where she remains under treatment. Her family said her vision in the other eye has also begun to blur. DCP (South) Ankit Chauhan said the girl's father has submitted in writing that they will give a statement later.htc
