Dharamshala, Dec. 4 -- The Himachal Pradesh assembly on Wednesday cleared the bill seeking to replace the chief justice of the high court with the chief secretary as the chairperson of the Real Estate Regulatory Authority selection committee.

The Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Himachal Pradesh Amendment Bill, 2025, proposing significant changes to the selection process of the RERA authority, was introduced in the House on Monday by town and country Planning Minister Rajesh Dharmani.
