Shimla, Aug. 23 -- Himachal Pradesh chief minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Friday accused the Bhakra Beas Management Board (BBMB) of failing to ensure dam safety protocols and endangering the residents of the hill state by releasing excess water from dams during the ongoing monsoon season. Speaking in the state assembly, Sukhu said continuous discharge of water from the Pong Dam on the Beas has created a flood-like situation in Fatehpur and Indora regions of Kangra district.
