Kolkata, Aug. 12 -- Former Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Bibhas Chandra Adhikari, who was arrested by Uttar Pradesh Police on August 9 for running a fake international police bureau in Gautam Buddha Nagar, faced Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and Enforcement Directorate (ED) probes in the West Bengal teacher recruitment case, state police officials said on Monday. "The Uttar Pradesh police have arrested Adhikari, his son Arghya and four of their associates for opening an office named International Police and Crime Investigation Bureau. They are all West Bengal residents," a police officer said on anonymity.
