HC upholds bar on 'tainted' teachers for new exam
Kolkata, July 11 -- A division bench of the Calcutta high court on Thursday upheld the July 7 single bench order that debarred identified tainted state government school teachers from the 2016 recruitment panel from appearing for the Supreme Court-directed fresh selection test, lawyers who attended the hearing said.
The division bench ordered that applications filed by these teachers should be scrapped following the single bench order, which quoted the Supreme Court's April 17 directive in the bribes-for-job case.
