hc revokes relief granted to cm soren in ed case
Ranchi, Nov. 26 -- The Jharkhand high court on Tuesday revoked the interim relief granted to chief minister Hemant Soren, which had exempted him from appearance before an MP/MLA court in Ranchi in a case filed by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).
A bench of justice Anil Kumar Choudhary was hearing a petition filed by Soren, challenging an order of personal appearance issued by the MP/MLA court special judge. The ED had issued summons to Soren to appear before its office in connection with a money laundering case linked to the alleged Bargain circle land scam, which he never complied with.
