India, Jan. 21 -- The Delhi high court on Wednesday refused to consider a petition seeking directions to the Board of Cricket Control of India (BCCI) and the International Cricket Council (ICC) to bar Bangladesh from the men's T20 World Cup over violence against Hindus in that country.

India and Sri Lanka are co-hosting the World Cup in February and March. Bangladesh is scheduled to play three group matches in Kolkata and one in Mumbai.

A bench of Chief Justice DK Upadhyaya and Justice Tejas Karia cited a lack of jurisdiction to intervene in matters of policy or foreign affairs.
