India, Aug. 31 -- The Bombay High Court has denied bail to a woman accused of cheating a well-known television producer by misusing the power of attorney executed by him to transfer Rs.3.61 crore to her own account and sell his flat in Malad for Rs.3.50 crore.
According to the police, the accused, Renu Brijendrapal Singh, met the producer in 2016, claiming that she ran a non-governmental organisation (NGO). The duo became friends and got married to each other in September 2019.
