Bhubaneswar, Aug. 26 -- The Orissa High Court allowed a 24-year-old woman to live with her same-sex partner after the latter's family members reportedly separated them and tried to get her married to a boy against her wish, said the court order uploaded on HC's website on Tuesday.

Hearing a habeas corpus petition filed by the 24-year-old woman of Jajpur district who insisted her gender to be that of a 'man' by exercising rights of self gender determination, division bench of Justice SK Mishra and Justice Savitri Ratho said the petitioner's woman partner can start living with her.
