HC affirms order granting Russian girl's custody to her Indian father
New Delhi, Nov. 6 -- The Delhi high court has affirmed a family court's decision granting interim custody of a four-year-old Russian girl to her father, an Indian national, observing that there existed a genuine concern that the child's Russian mother might take her out of India, thereby hindering the ongoing legal proceedings.
A bench of justices Anil Kshetarpal and Harish Vadiyanathan Shankar delivered the verdict on Tuesday while dealing with the woman's petition challenging the family court's in February.
