India, March 2 -- Kane Williamson is one of those cricketers who always tries to maintain a poker face on the field, and it is difficult to read what is going on in his mind. However, in a rare occurrence, Williamson broke character as he was hit on the hands by a terrific hard hit by India all-rounder Hardik Pandya during the ICC Men's Champions Trophy 2025 Group A match at the Dubai International Stadium.

The incident happened on the fifth ball of the 45th over. William ORourke bowled a good-length delivery, and the ball got a bit of extra bounce.

However, Hardik Pandya cut the ball pretty hard, and it went straight to Williamson at backward point. The ball raced to the former New Zealand captain and ended up stinging his hand.
