BENGALURU, Dec. 20 -- A 35-year-old gym trainer was arrested allegedly for kicking a five-year-old child playing outside his home in Karnataka's south Bengaluru after a purported CCTV clip of the incident surfaced, police said on Friday, adding that he has been released on bail. According to police, the incident took place on December 14 in Thyagaraj Nagar, under the Banashankari police limits. CCTV footage from the neighbourhood shows the man, identified as B Ranjan, approaching and kicking the boy, police said. HT could not independently verify the veracity of the clip.
