India, Sept. 1 -- The Gurugram District Magistrate has asked offices and schools to remain shut on Tuesday on account of heavy to very heavy rainfall forecast for Tuesday, 2 September.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an Orange Alert for Heavy to Very Heavy Rainfall on 02-09-2025, Gurugram DM said in a notice posted on X, formerly Twitter. Offices are advised to remain shut and facilitate work from home. Schools to remain closed.
