India, Nov. 11 -- Goalkeeper Gurpreet Singh Sandhu is among the several top footballers to raise concerns regarding the impasse surrounding the resumption of the Indian Super League (ISL), the country's top-division football tournament. Football Sports Development Limited (FSDL)'s contract with the All India Football Federation (AIFF) as a commercial partner is set to expire in December 2025, and the tournament has been put on hold due to the absence of a future investor.

Looking at the situation, Gurpreet Singh, along with Rahul Bheke and Lallianzuala Chhangte, shared a joint statement on Tuesday, urging the authorities to work towards a possible resolution.
