New Delhi, April 19 -- The government has further eased Goods and Services Tax (GST) registration process by directing officers not to demand unnecessary documents from applicants, and asked them to grant registrations within seven working days, the finance ministry said on Friday, refuting reports that it is considering to levy GST on UPI transactions over Rs.2,000.
