New Delhi, Feb. 7 -- A group of people broke into an ATM booth in Wazirabad, north Delhi, and uprooted the entire machine, which had around Rs.25 lakh, police said.
The incident took place in the early hours of Thursday and none of the accused have been identified yet.
A senior police officer said, "They had cutters, hammers and other hand tools. They broke into the ATM where no guard was present. First, one man entered and spraypainted the CCTV. He was masked. We are assuming he was then joined by others who broke the machine in the next 10-15 minutes. The men managed to uproot the machine and fled with it."htc
