govt will push for revision of warehousing policy: sachdeva
New Delhi, July 2 -- The Delhi government will push for a revision in the warehousing policy to facilitate formation of a common society-based model for building warehouses in the national capital, Delhi BJP chief Virendra Sachdeva said on Tuesday.
Speaking at an event, Sachdeva said: "A major issue faced by wholesale traders is the lack of land for warehouses, which is prompting some markets to look for land in other states. The Delhi BJP and the government will soon urge the Centre, lieutenant governor, and DDA to provide land to trader organisations on a society-based model for building warehouses..."
