New Delhi, April 27 -- The Delhi government will launch a novel initiative, "Maa Yamuna Swachhta Abhiyan", in schools to increase sensitivity among children about the importance of river Yamuna and connect them with the broader cleanliness movement, officials said on Saturday.
Public Works Department minister Parvesh Verma has written to education minister Ashish Sood, requesting that the campaign be implemented in all government, government-aided, and private schools across Delhi.
