New Delhi, Aug. 2 -- The Centre on Friday notified the appointment of 12 judges in three high courts, which includes 10 judicial officers and two advocates, within a month of their names being recommended by the Supreme Court Collegium. Confirming the development, Union law minister Arjun Ram Meghwal, in a tweet published on Friday evening said that the names of 10 judicial officers have been cleared for appointment as additional judges of the Punjab & Haryana high court. The remaining two include advocate Tuhin Kumar Gedela as additional judge of Andhra Pradesh high court and advocate Ajit Kumar as judge of Patna high court.
