India, March 28 -- Karnataka's Bengaluru has become the fourth most hired-from city in the Asia-Pacific region for remote artificial intelligence (AI)-related jobs as global companies increasingly scout for talent in India.
These companies which originate from places like the US, the UK, Singapore, Sweden, Germany, and Canada, according to an Economic Times report which cited data from global HR company Deel.
They are hiring Indians for full-time, contractual and freelance roles which are remote in nature since this nearly halves their costs as there are no immigration struggles.
The global demand for AI talent in India is also expected to more than double from 600,000 in 2022 to over 1,250,000 by 2027, according to the report.
