India, April 28 -- Gene Hackman's final postmortem autopsy report has revealed that the Hollywood star had not eaten for a long time before passing away in February.

According to the Office of the Medical Investigator's official report from New Mexico, Hackman's system contained traces of acetone.

Acetone levels in the iconic star's toxicological test were 5.3 mg/dl, which is equivalent to extended fasting, according to Fox News.

The report states that the solvent may function as a "product of diabetic- and fasting-induced ketoacidosis as well as a metabolite following isopropanol ingestion."

It confirmed Hackman's "history of congestive heart failure" and "severe chronic hypertensive changes" to his kidneys. In addition, the medical ...
