India, July 22 -- As many as 215,157 applicants who were allotted seats in the second round of the first year junior college (FYJC) or Class 11, a significant majority of the total 251,804, have confirmed their admissions. In this, 55,965 students have taken admission in the Mumbai division. Mumbai division recorded the highest number of admissions in the second round, followed by Pune with 36,421 admissions, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar with 27,957, and Nashik with 22,126.
The second merit list was published online on Thursday. In Mumbai, 79,403 students were allotted seats in the second round. Out of these, 44,139 students were admitted through the regular round, while 11,826 students took admission under various reservation categories.
