New Delhi, May 17 -- In a big boost for better case disposal by trial courts and high courts, the Supreme Court on Friday directed all states to ensure court managers, brought in under the Thirteenth Finance Commission, are regularised, and rules regarding their service conditions are brought into force within fixed timelines.
A bench headed by Chief Justice of India Bhushan R Gavai passed the order considering the significant impact these persons will have by helping judges with case management and other non-judicial work that will provide judges more time to deal with core judicial functions.
