KANPUR, Feb. 5 -- Four members of a family, including a couple and their two children, were killed late on Wednesday night after a speeding truck rammed into a container and then ran over their motorcycle on the Lucknow-Kanpur highway in Uttar Pradesh's Unnao district, police said on Thursday.

The incident occurred around 11.30 pm near Bhalla Farm crossing in Sohramau police station when the ill-fated family was returning home after attending a wedding in Dayalkheda village under Banthara police station in Lucknow, said Arvind Pandey, SHO, Sohramau.
