New Delhi, March 3 -- Police have arrested five people, including four Nepalese nationals, for allegedly smuggling narcotics in southeast Delhi's Amar Colony area. Police said they recovered 4-5kg of psychotropic substances, Rs.42,000 in cash, and nine mobile phones from the possession of the accused on Saturday.

Two of the accused were caught in an Alto car, police said. Their interrogation led police to an apartment in Amar Colony where the three other accused were caught, DCP (southeast) Ravi Kumar Singh said.

Police said that the group procured drugs from Nepal, which was then smuggled into India and distributed across Delhi-NCR. htc
