Rohtak, July 1 -- A Hisar court on Monday sent former Akhil Bharatiya Bishnoi Mahasabha president Devendra Bishnoi, also known as Budia, to judicial custody for 14 days, a day after he was arrested from Jodhpur in Rajasthan in a rape case.Inspector Pawan Kumar of the State Crime Branch said that they produced Budia before a Hisar court, which sent him to judicial custody for 14 days."We arrested him on Sunday, five months after he was booked in a rape case filed in Hisar's Adampur police station. Bishnoi had been absconding after being accused of repeatedly raping a 20-year-old woman under the pretext of helping her to go abroad for higher education," he added.
