Gurugram, April 24 -- In a poignant follow-up to Earth Day, residents of Bandhwari and nearby villages, joined by environmental activists from Gurugram and other cities, gathered at a temple courtyard along the Gurgaon-Faridabad Road to protest what they called the government's sustained negligence of the Aravalli forest region. The demonstration was marked by fiery speeches, placards, and calls for immediate action on landfill expansion, forest fires, and environmental degradation.
