New Delhi, Dec. 9 -- Under the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), the Centre transferred over Rs.71 lakh crore to states in 2014-24 as compared to the total tax devolution of $18.54 lakh crore under the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) regime in 2004-14, Union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman said in the Rajya Sabha on Monday, refuting the charge of a trust deficit between the Centre and states by some Opposition members.
