India, July 13 -- In a proud moment for the Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), five graduating medical cadets were formally commissioned at a ceremonial event held on Saturday at the college's Bhardwaj Auditorium. Of the five, one cadet has been commissioned into the Indian Air Force, while four have joined the Indian Army.
The event was attended by senior dignitaries, military veterans, faculty members, and the cadets' families. Surgeon Vice Admiral Arti Sarin, Director General of Armed Forces Medical Services (DGAFMS), served as the reviewing officer for the ceremony.
