India, Aug. 14 -- A fire broke out at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi on Thursday, with the city's fire department responding to the incident.

According to a report by the news agency PTI, 10 fire tenders rushed to the spot in response to the blaze. The fire reportedly broke out at the Mother and Child Block of AIIMS.

Delhi Fire Services said that no casualties have been reported so far due to the fire. The DFS officer quoted in the PTI report said that a call regarding the fire was received at 5.15 PM.

"We rushed 10 fire tenders to the hospital, and firefighting operations are ongoing," he said.
