New Delhi, March 14 -- A fire broke out inside an apartment in East of Kailash on Thursday night, fire officials said, adding that three people in the flat were rescued in time.
Delhi Fire Services chief Atul Garg said a call was received at 9 pm about the blaze. Nine fire tenders were rushed to the spot, and the flames were doused by 10.30pm.
DCP (southeast) Ravi Kumar Singh said a family of three trapped in the fire was rescued using ladders.
Meanwhile, in Okhla, a godown with steel pipes caught fire. No casualties were reported. htc
