Chandigarh, July 10 -- The Punjab and Haryana high court has granted bail to a Fatehabad resident, who was booked for sedition in May during Operation Sindoor, after he allegedly shared a pro Pakistan AI generated video on Facebook that was critical of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union home minister Amit Shah.

The high court bench of NS Shekhawat granted bail to Mustaq Ahmed, a 65-year-old practicing bone-setter while observing that the petitioner is a senior citizen and deserves "sympathetic consideration".
