New Delhi, Jan. 30 -- An FIR has been registered against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate Surender Bhardwaj, contesting from Bijwasan, under sections 467, 468, 471, and 34 of the IPC for allegedly fabricating the birth certificate of his son, southwest Delhi Police said on Wednesday.

The complaint, filed by Pramila, president of the World Nari Shakti Foundation, alleges that Bhardwaj and his wife falsified their son's birth certificate between 2015 and 2017 to facilitate his participation in Board of Control for Cricket in India's domestic seasons, according to the FIR, seen by HT.
