India, April 4 -- We're putting all the rumors to rest once and for all! Amid a wave of speculation and misinformation, HT City can confirm that the first promo of Hera Pheri 3 featuring the iconic trio comprising of Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal has been shot - and it is definitely brand new.

Contrary to popular belief, the scene filmed on April 3 is not an old sequence written by the late Neeraj Vora. Fans had speculated that the makers were simply using leftover material, but that's a complete misconception. We now have official confirmation that the promo was freshly written by none other than OG director Priyadarshan himself, with the screenplay by Rohan Shankar.
