Srinagar, Feb. 4 -- A retired army soldier was shot dead, while his wife and niece sustained injuries after terrorists opened fire at his residence in Kulgam district of Jammu & Kashmir on Monday, police said. The Chinar Corps of Indian Army identified the victims as Manzoor Ahmed Waghey (ex Serviceman, 39), his wife Aaina Akhtar (32) and niece Saina Hameed (13). Akhtar and Hameed were taken to District Hospital Anantnag, it said. Waghey served in the Territorial battalion, it added.P11
