New Delhi, March 5 -- Education minister Ashish Sood on Tuesday said that the first draw of lots for admissions under the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category for the academic session 2025-26 will be conducted on March 5 at the Old Secretariat.
"The Delhi government is committed to transparency across all sectors, and the results of these efforts will be visible soon," Sood said.
Officials said that the process will be conducted in the presence of parents and media representatives. "Considering the limited space at the venue, multiple television screens will be installed to ensure better visibility for parents attending the event," an official said.
Sood said that the education department is working in a mission mode.
